The Orthopaedic Biomechanics Laboratory at the VA Long Beach Healthcare System was established in 1989 by Thay Q. Lee, PhD, along with support from William C. Kim, MD, Sanford H. Anzel, MD, and M. Mark Hoffer, MD. The facility covers over 2,000 square feet of laboratory space and is equipped with state-of-the-art biomechanics testing equipment.
